Eurojackpot amounts to 117 million euros – The highest lottery jackpot in German history
Hamburg, July 15, 2022. The Eurojackpot today stands at 117 million euros. This is the biggest lottery jackpot in German history.
After there was no main winner in Friday night’s draw, the Eurojackpot now stands at €117 million. The next draw will take place next Tuesday at 7 p.m.
“The Eurojackpot can still go up to €120m – if it’s not hit on Tuesday!” explains Jonas Mattsson, CFO of LOTTO24 AG, Germany’s leading internet lottery provider. “There is a lot of excitement in our business. It was only in May that a LOTTO24 lottery team won the highest Eurojackpot ever, taking home a total of €110 million. Our employees are working hard and keeping their fingers crossed for our LOTTO24 customers!”
Eurojackpot is a lottery in which a total of 18 European countries participate. Players choose “5 out of 50” numbers first, then “2 out of 12” Euro numbers. Since a product change in March this year, the jackpot can go up to €120 million – previously the limit was €90 million. The draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday evening in Helsinki, Finland. Participation is possible at LOTTO24 Where Tip24among others.
