A LARGS hotel lady has won a huge prize in the popular ZIP code lottery because she is the only person on her street playing the game.

Lillian Wood won £ 30,000 in the draw this week – and told The News how she thought the phone call to tell her she hit the jackpot was someone pulling her leg.

Lillian, who is co-owner of the Woodhouse Hotel in Largs, says she’s “over the moon” at manna.

The 62-year-old, who has run the hotel for 15 years with her husband Willie, plans to “spoil her grandchildren” with the money and also hopes to go to South Africa next year to see friends.
