Indian expat from Sharjah wins 10 million dirhams in Big Ticket raffle

Abu Dhabi: Dubai resident Gurpreet Singh from India won 10 million dirhams in the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi raffle announced on Thursday.

His winning ticket 067757 was purchased on August 12.

Speaking to Gulf News by phone, Singh couldn’t contain his excitement.

A resident of the United Arab Emirates for 30 years, he said he came to the country as a five-year-old with his parents.

“This land has given me everything. And now making this mega money is amazing, ”said Singh, who works as a computer engineer for a hotel company.

Singh lives in Sharjah with his wife and two children. He said news of his victory was not yet known and he had no plans yet on what he would do with the money.

“Certainly a lot will go to savings,” he said.

Singh said he has been buying a Big Ticket raffle ticket every month for the past two years. He works as an IT manager and was at work when Big Ticket host Richard called him. He was pleasantly surprised to be shocked to hear the victory. In a message to raffle fans, Singh asked everyone to keep trying. “Keep trying and you’ll be lucky!” When you dream, dream big! “.

Another millionaire at Big Ticket
