A lucky Briton could be on the verge of scoring the biggest national lottery win in history if he wins Friday’s EuroMillions draw.
It is estimated that £ 172million is up for grabs if the jackpot is won by a single ticket holder.
On Tuesday, the main EuroMillions winning numbers were 11, 13, 14, 36, 45 and the lucky star winning numbers were 07, 09.
No one won the first prize.
Andy Carter of Camelot, Senior National Lottery Winners Advisor, said: “Friday’s exciting EuroMillions jackpot is estimated at £ 172 million.
“If a UK winner cashed in the full amount he would instantly become the UK National Lottery winner of all time.”
A single jackpot would eclipse the UK’s current record prize of £ 170,221,000, won by an anonymous player in a EuroMillions draw on October 8, 2019.
This year has already been good for gigantic lottery payouts, with two of the 10 biggest wins coming in 2021.
An anonymous ticket holder won £ 122,550,350 in a draw on April 2, while £ 111,540,000 was claimed in a SuperDraw two months later.
